The very popular Pasta Supper fundraiser, featuring Chef Gary Festarini & Friends, is scheduled:
- Saturday, April 20th
- 5:30 – 9:00 p.m.
- Deep River Legion (bar service will be available)
- Cost is 12+ years $15, 4-12 years $10, 0-3 years free
- Tickets available at Monica’s pantry, at the door and at the pool (times TBA)
Never heard of it? Well, you are in for a treat!
Gary, along
with a number of his Masters Swimmer friends, has been supporting the
Candu Swim Club for many years by preparing an assortment of wonderful
pasta dishes and salads that the swimmers (12+years) serve to the
public. The Candu executive,
coaches and parents organize the event; donate homemade
bread/buns/dessert; and of course attend if possible. Tickets are sold to the community. The event has been well attended in the past - it is a fun evening out!
