THE DETAILS
| WHO? | Pre-competitive/Fitness Swimmers who can swim a minimum of 25 metres (one length of the pool). |
| WHAT? | A non-sanctioned meet where times are tracked but not formally recorded. Afterwards, swimmers head upstairs for a social and ‘dress’ their own Sundaes*. Swimmers have the chance to compare their performance to previous mock meets and the Candy Cane Meet at CU. *The Deep River Candu’s are an allergy friendly club. EVENTS: 25 fly, 25bk, 25 br, 25 fr, 50 bk, 50 br, 50 fr COST: $20 each for the first two swimmers of the family, $0 for each additional family swimmer. |
| WHEN? | Sunday April 15, 2012 Doors open at 12:30pm/12:45pm Warm-up 1pm Start/Sundaes upstairs at 3:15pm. |
| WHERE? | Deep River Community Pool 57 Brockhouse Way, Deep River, ON, K0J 1P0 |
| WHY? | A ‘trial’ meet in prep for the Blackfly which encourages competition in a laid back and friendly atmosphere. The event format mimics one of a competitive competition. |
