2018/19 Season Details

Welcome to Deep River CANDUs

We offer programming from learn to swim, building fitness, or to provincial level competition.  We have choices!

CANDU Kids – An after school, learn to swim program for youth age ~6 to 10 years.  Offered Tues and Thurs 3:55 to 4:55 p.m., young swimmers will learn the fundamentals of swimming, progressing up 4 waves as they acquire over 50 skills, while having fun and building fitness along the way.  Click HERE for more information on CANDU Kids.

CANDU Juniors – For the slightly older swimmer (~10-12) that has either moved up from CANDU Kids and want to further refine their swim technique, build strength and endurance and learn to compete, or relatively new to swimming and want to learn the fundamentals - this is your program.  Built on 4 one-hour practices per week, swimmers progress quickly in a relaxed, supportive environment.  Click HERE for more information on CANDU Juniors.

CANDU Seniors – For swimmers ~10+ that are young swimmers ready for competition, or a bit older and want to either build overall fitness, refine their swim technique, cross-train for other sports, or develop into an elite competitive swimmer – this is your program.  This 10.5 hour per week program will develop overall athletic ability and provide the basis of swimming efficiently and thus very fast!  Click HERE for more information on CANDU Seniors.

CANDU Adults – An after-work program for adults 18+.  This program is offered in partnership with the Town of Deep River.  Coaching is provided in designated lanes for swimmers ranging from learn to swim, to building fitness, or preparing to compete in Masters, triathlon or open water events.  This 3 hours per week program will provide the support and motivation to meet your goals.  Click HERE for more information on CANDU Adults.
