Small town end of season meet with Barbeque.
This meet is great for ALL our CANDUS that can independently swim 25m (1 length of the pool).
$10 swimmer fee+ $10 for each event (race). The BBQ Saturday night is included in this fee for Blackfly Swimmers. ALL individuals attending the BBQ (other than Blackfly Swimmers) must purchase a ticket. Presale tickets are available for $15 (please indicate the number of BBQ tickets required in your registration email to coach Denys). Coaches and children 3 & under are FREE. Tickets are also available at the event for $20.
FIRM Registration Deadline is May 7th. The ONLY way to register is to email coach Denys: reach_denys@hotmail.com please indicate your swimmer's name and the number of BBQ TICKETS. Your fees will be sent to you and billed to your Candu Active Account.

Where:
The CANDU Swim club invites all swimmers, coaches, family and friends to join us at the beautiful Deep River Yacht and Tennis Club (DRYTC) on the Ottawa River for the BlackFly BBQ.
Directions to the Yacht and Tennis Club: From the pool walk to the road the runs parallel to the Ottawa River. Cross the road and turning left on the footpath you will encounter, stroll 200m to the DRYTC.
When:
The BBQ takes place on Saturday, 11 May (rain or shine).
The food will be served at 5:30pm but all are welcome to come to the DRYTC earlier to enjoy the scenic view.
How:
Swimmers’ BBQ tickets are included in the ‘Swimmer’s Fee”. Coaches and children under 3 eat for free. Family and friends pay $15.00/person when bought ahead of time. “Family and Friends” are encouraged to pre-purchase their tickets through their club so the DRC know how many we are serving. Please indicate the number of these extra tickets needed and pay this amount to your coach/registrar upon registering for the meet.
Tickets will be issued to the coach upon team registration on May 11.
Extra tickets will be sold at the BlackFly Canteen for $20.00/person
What:
Buffet-style BBQ includes: 2 meats (1 hamburger and 1 hotdog) with bun and condiments, fresh veggies and fruit, potato chips, 1 drink and 1 dessert
